Charles brought a rich and varied insurance background to RMSOA, adding to their experience as a national provider of Back Office Support Services (B.O.S.S.®) for the insurance industry. He is responsible for strategic planning, client services, recruitment and development of millennial talent.

Prior to joining RMSOA, Charles was the CEO of (*) GBG Inc., an independent insurance agency with offices in three states. His industry experience also included underwriting, office management and field marketing positions with St. Paul Insurance Companies (now Travelers) and Fireman’s Fund Insurance (now Allianz), as well as national program management and agency development with CNA.

Charles is committed to the insurance industry, he has previously served as the Chairman as well as President of the Independent Insurance Agents of Illinois (IIA of IL). He is a past member of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIABA), Diversity Task Force as well as a national board member of the National African American Insurance Association. Most recently, he became a national board member of InVEST, a subsidiary of IIABA committed to improving insurance literacy in students and attracting new talent to the insurance industry.

Charles received his Bachelor of Science Journalism from Northwestern University. He is also a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC).
