John brought significant insurance and risk management experience to his responsibilities as Executive Vice President. He is responsible for the leadership and development of RMSOA Wholesale operations as well management of Back Office Support Services (B.O.S.S.®).

Prior to joining RMSOA, John was the Director of Risk Management for Cook County (2^nd largest county in the U.S.), the National Equity Fund, Inc. and Chicago Public Schools (3^rd largest school district in the U.S.). John gained hands on commercial brokerage experience with firms like Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. He has also held underwriting positions with Intercontinental Insurance Managers, Inc., American International Group, Inc. as well as Allstate Insurance Company.

John is committed to the community as well. He served for more than 10 years as Director of Men’s Ministry at his church and he has worked extensively in community based mentoring of young male adolescents.

John received his Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University. He also has successfully completed a number of sections of his CPCU and Associate in Underwriting.
